Islay House, Woodend

Oil painting of part of a Georgian-style house with a fence and a tree with autumn leaves beside.
Islay House takes its name from the southernmost Hebridean island, which in turn lends its name to the Scottish whisky region most noted for its peaty liquors.  Like all fine alcohol, Islay whisky should be enjoyed in moderation: it can be a short road from peaty to repeaty.

Oil on canvas board, 8" x 10"
