Dear neglected blog,
Although I have devoted some time to painting on my two-month European holiday (including a wonderful week-long workshop with Julian Merrow-Smith), there's been little worth posting, and this latest update is no exception except I thought it was high time I added something.
This is a very quick sketch done from the balcony of my Rue Saint-Séverin hotel in the Latin Quarter of Paris. I can't help but wonder if a Latin quarter should be expressed as I divided by IV or perhaps five solidi (one quarter of a libra). The latter is a pun about a currency which is no longer current.
