A mandarine appeeling to better jugment
Oil on canvas board, 4" x 6"
Daily painting exercises in tonal realism since February 2013; adorned with terrible puns since 2014.

Baguette with Blue Cheese
This subject had a high degree of difficulty, not because of its technical nature, but because it was my lunch and I was particularly hungry. As such, the painting isn't quite finished, but the same can't be said for my repast.

Garden at Rosebery Hill, Pipers Creek
Not entirely which trees and shrubs I've depicted here--just the garden variety (actually, I think the dark shadow in the very bottom right is the edge of a Sequoiadendron, but you'll have to take my word for it).

Tarrawingee Landscape
I was going to make a pun about these two trees, but tree puns arboring.

Rock Pools at Woolshed Falls, Beechworth
Despite appearances, there is actually a waterfall that emerges between these rocks--it falls between the cracks.

Small Bottle with Parmesan Cheese
This painting represents me: I'm rather partial to the bottle, and like a good cheese, I'm a pun gent.

Pear with Onion
Onions: good for an impaired memory (according to a random study I found on the internet: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16823099).

Tomato with Petite Liqueur Bottle
Lycopene is an antioxidant found in tomatoes that is rumoured to be a remedy for hangovers, and hence it is fictitiously known in France as le cure.

Figs
There are four figs in this painting: the three you can see, and one that's a figment of my imagination.

Building on Mollison Street, Kyneton
The building was originally intended to be the focal point of this picture, but a car got in the road--it could have driven me round the bend, but instead I found another gear and steered the painting in a different direction.

Porcelain Jug with Zucchini
There once was a jug and courgette,
Who ran up a large gambling debt.
When goons paid a visit,
Our friends asked, "how much is it?"
"We can't seem to place all our bets."

Garlic Bulb with Painted Glass Vase
Garlic is white, vases are blue; such simplistic verse should I surely eschew.

Mollison Street Bridge, Kyneton
It's too late to come up with an original bridge pun: I don't have the attention span.
