Bishopscourt, East Melbourne

Oil painting of Victorian-era arches adjoining a double-storey Edwardian brick building.
Bishopscourt is home to Melbourne's Anglican Archbishop, which is evident from the architectural features of the portico.  The houses of ordinary bishops are similar, but lack arches.

Rear of Shops from MacArthur Place, Carlton

Oil painting of buildings clustered around a small alleyway with high-rise buildings in the distance.
This scene may be viewed from MacArthur Place, but as it is not in MacArthur Place it is effectively out of place (it may therefore be difficult for those familiar with the area to place it).
