Having spent a sizeable amount of time trying to identify this pumpkin variety on the internet, I've come to the realisation that--unlike in Australia--this orange foodstuff is not universally known as a pumpkin but more commonly referred to as a squash (in Australia, squash is usually reserved for the small early-picked yellow fruits). And of course, that's not to forget the fact that a squash is actually a fruit and not a vegetable. If I stay up too much later pondering the matter, I'll doubtless turn into something that's particularly hard to identify.
