Still Life with Plastic Lavender

Oil painting of three vases, a black bottle with an off-white label and a red label on its neck with a bunch of plastic lavender protruding from the top, and a stoneware mug resting on its side.
Painted over three consecutive Thursdays at art class, this is a classic example of what I call Method Greg--my teacher Greg Smith instructs us in his method so as to elucidate Greg's myth.

Oil on canvas board, 20" x 16"
