This isn't the first time I've painted a tomato in a wine glass, only this time I thought I'd have a second bite of the cherry.

Coincidental: The unlikely incidence of a toothache being cured by a quince.

Shop in Piper Street, Kyneton
Once again, this image is a fairly ordinary reproduction of the painting: it seems I am somewhat able to PaintShop, but am apparently less able to Photoshop.

Milk Jug with Zucchini
There once was a jug and zucchini,
For whom evenings were spent with Puccini.
Some nights choral hums,
Other times sleep for none,
And an elephant--or was that Henry Mancini?

Banana in My Left Hand
Ahem, I'm aware of how this looks, but I can attest to the fact that I didn't set out to be so crude; as a painter I certainly wouldn't risk going blind.

Still Life with Oranges and Plastic Bag
This is a very bad reproduction of a four-week class exercise. It is somewhat of a mixed bag, especially given that resetting the still life each week was a difficult orangement.

Nectarine with Small Bottle
According to Wikipedia, nectarines are sometimes referred to as a "fuzzless peach", so I asked this nectarine which appellation it preferred. It replied, "whichever, I'm not fuzzy."

River Red Gums, Royal Park
The smaller tree in this painting may well be the offspring of the larger, and therefore quite possibly a son of a gum.

Bishopscourt, East Melbourne
This was painted towards the rear of the building, which in cricket circles is known as court behind.

Jaguers Lane, Parkville
Although I've painted Jaguers Lane on numerous occasions, I'm still serving my apprenticeship: it will take some time and much effort for me to become a Jaguer-meister.

Sauce Jug with Red Onion
It's so hard to keep coming up with onion puns (especially red ones): bloody Allium.

Lemon in Glass Jar
I composed a somewhat juicy caption for this picture, but I've decided to keep a lid on it.
