Brown Bottle with Pink Flowers

An inspired subject: yet another bottle beside some flowers.  Nevertheless, it's slightly more inspired than my caption.

Bowl and Mandarine

Playing with complementary colours.  They say such approving things of one another.

Tea Cup and Garlic Bulb

There's nothing I like more than a cup of delicious garlic tea.  Mmm.

Onion and Glass Vase

Savers charity shop has supplied me with another vase, while Victoria Market has supplied me with another onion.

Artist's Model and Bottle

A contorted wooden artist's model; I think he's been hitting the bottle.

Mandarine and Tea Towel

Mandarines (or mandarins as folks seem to call them now) are back in season.

Jar of Barley and Pear

A par of jarley and bear.  No, sorry, a jar of barley and pear.

Vase with Plastic Yellow Roses

This looks a bit like roses and vase on a nicely-laid table cloth.  The table cloth is actually my Single Malt Whisky tea towel draped over a speaker.

A fake Chinese vase and a real Victoria Market tomato.

Waterfall at Pipers Creek

Oil painting of a rock face with pool of water at the bottom, and a fence above.
A waterfall at Pipers Creek, though calling this a waterfall might be a misnomer, as no water is actually falling (it has simply pooled at the bottom).  In actual fact, this is a rocky cliff face where water tends to fall.

Late Afternoon, Pipers Creek

Oil painting of a eucalyptus tree and a water tank in the late afternoon sun at Pipers Creek, Victoria, Australia.
Pipers Creek, looking over the fence from my folk's place into the neighbouring farm.  Buddhists turn away now: you can see some genuine late-afternoon insects accidentally painted into the sky on the right.

House at Rosebery Hill, Pipers Creek

Oil painting of an early 20th century weather board house with lattice work and blue plant pots on brick pillars.
House at Rosebery Hill, Pipers Creek.  The blue plant pots were (and still are) the same size, and I'd like to say that I employed artistic licence in making them slightly different, but in fact, I employed artistic incompetence.

A copper pot and a copper-coloured onion.

Marble Bottle and Red Roses

Red roses and a marble bottle.  Actually, the bottle is made of glass, but is commonly known as a marble bottle due to the spherical marble stopper.

Egg and Vase

Another Savers charity shop special.  The vase that is, not the egg (I suspect the egg is unused).

Vase and Castor Oil Bottle

Trusty castor oil bottle, and a newly acquired $3 vase from Savers charity shop.  Ming Dynasty I think.
